"☆☆ update - August 2025: I was recently reviewing our emails back and forth....come to find out they didn’t honor their original quote from the end of February for a policy that was planned to start at my renewal date (beginning of March) of LM despite being in the timeframe on the quote before it expired about 30-45 days after our policy started. After signing up, both our home & auto policies shot up (NO new claims, tickets, new drivers added, etc.), no real justification provided. Also, there was NO prior notice other than the bill about 2 weeks before the due date (not enrolled in auto pay for this very reason). Their failures are in direct contradiction to Texas Insurance laws, which I let them know about. I did request a change so to speak as the deductible was $1k & switched to $500.... only resulted in a minimal change a couple days of our start date when I realized it, though not one each month. They initially added a "good student" discount asked for the grades mid April Texas A&M semester ended the 2nd week of May to get all the grades in, I sent them May 21st when available through TAMU's student portal...so they went back and removed the discount retroactively from the start in March JACKED the monthly premium up... back to then and then added it back... 3.66 GPA... makes ZERO sense. The other thing is our auto policy we were switching from LM to SF despite having visibility to our policy dates. SF started it a day AFTER it should have so LM charged us for the day! So now we're paying close to $150-$200 more per month than originally quoted on the auto & about $1k for the HO. I wasn't happy about what's occurring so I left a message for the owner after speaking with the manager (guys name it's listed under) and ZERO return calls, texts or emails. Definitely not happy. ☆☆☆ BTW SF CANNOT cancel your policies with LM..... after realizing it LM wouldn't acknowledge SF causing a huge issue. Took almost 4 months to get the retro cancellations initiated. The insurance industry is absolutely a hot mess all the way around! Brand loyalty USED to matter! ___________________________________________ Original review - February 2025 - Don't know why I didn't take the leap sooner from the insurance carrier I had for what seems like forever. It appears as they were price gouging! I can not say enough good things about Taalyn's in the Southlake office, customer service, patience & follow-up. Whether it was calls, emails, or texts, she was quick to respond. Even offered to assist cancelation of our policies with the other carrier. The cost savings is astounding!"
